2002 is well and truly over, even if the aftermath of the season
continues to spill over into the winter, but 2003 is just around the
corner and fans have a lot to look forward to. Testing will resume in
less than three weeks time and new car launches shouldn't be too far
away either.
Jaguar Racing have revealed to Autosport that they will be unveiling
their new 2003 challenger to the awaiting Formula One world on Monday
the 13th of January next year followed by an official shakedown of the
new R4 a few days later. Armed with a new driver line-up for next
season, that they will officially present at the launch, the Milton
Keynes outfit is the first to reveal their plans for what will more
than likely be one of the most important seasons in their short
history.
British American Racing and Toyota were two of the early launches last
year, both teams opting to throw the wraps off in December and while
neither outfit has confirmed their dates for 2003, it is thought that
BAR will launch early in the new year.
